Japanese Woodland Water Garden - The Raised Wooden Walkway
A raised wooden walkway was built on site to meander through the trees to join the lakeside dojo with the rest of the house and garden.
Not only does the appearance of the walkway fit the design with its soft curves and natural finish, it also creates a practical path through the site which can be marshy and wet in places.
Finished with rocks positioned along the path and naturalised planting with iris for the Eastern influence and domestic wildflowers for a woodland garden that seems to have been created by mother nature.
